You may need to provide medical certificates and a police clearance to prove you are in good health and of good character. This is to ensure that you do not pose a health or safety risk to New Zealand’s public.
4. Sponsor or Financial Guarantor
If you are unable to show sufficient personal funds, you may be able to use a sponsor or financial guarantor who can provide evidence of their ability to support you financially. A sponsor must be a New Zealand citizen or resident. You must be able to prove your relationship with evidence.
5. Outward Travel Funds
You need to show that you have sufficient funds to cover your travel back to your home country upon completion of your studies, or have a return ticket already booked.
6. Other Requirements
Genuine Student Requirement – Evidence that you genuinely intend to study and that your primary purpose for coming to New Zealand is education.
Confirmation of Enrolment – Proof of acceptance into an accredited educational institution in New Zealand.
Course Details – Information about the course you will be studying, including duration, content, credits and scheduled vacations.
